The first
two pages contain the text of "the LONG RIDE" article.
The photos and captions for the article spill over into the Dave
Patey PBP story which follows, though the photo content is distinct
from the story. I have include Patey's story pages here because
of this spill over. The Patey story is also in the stories section
of this site. You will notice that there are many factual and
typographical errors on these pages.
There are enlargments of the photos in this article in the 1983 PBP Photos section.
